"Public Speaking and Academic Writing" was an excellent way in which I could improve my English. At the beginning I was stressed and overwhelmed because my grade was not high enough. I did not realize how helpful the class would be and I cared less.
However, the activities assigned along the rest of the course helped me reduce a great amount of errors I used to have while communicating in English. The course made me learn things that I had little to no clue about such as collocations and some vocabulary. In addition, I saw important topics such work interviews, résumés and some excellent tips that could become handy when in a future we had not only to present our ideas but also, to convince they are great.
At the end, I can only be grateful that I realized I had to improve my English. Finally, thank our teacher, who made us realize it was now the time to correct our English issues, otherwise, it would be harder to improve our English later.

First Period Initial Reflection
Initial reflection
I have liked the class so far, because I have learned some interesting topics that enhances the way I speak and write in English. I have gained knowledge on how to write a paragraph step by step. I have extended my lexicon with the vocabulary lists. One of my favorite topics seen during this first part of the semester, was "Collocations" before I have understood how proper English should be spoked and written to meet the standards made by native-English speakers. Therefore, my English has been improved quite much. In order to make much more improvement for the rest of the course, I should pay more attention to class and commit to it. Also, by doing my activities with more enthusiasm and passion, I could make my English better. I hope the rest of the course would be as pleasant and delightful, but also that I learn as much as in the first part of this semester.
